About us

Agriturismo Olmo Bello originated from the careful restoration of an ancient stone farmhouse in Capodimonte, on Lake Bolsena. The restoration preserved the original charm. Olmo Bello has three fully independent apartments equipped with all comforts.

The ideal geographical location in northern Tuscia, between Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio, between Lake Bolsena and the Tyrrhenian Sea, gives rise to one of the poles of excellence of Italian gastronomy, with a wealth of flavors, olive oils, legumes and historic wines.

Our comfortable apartments are equipped with an open kitchen with stove, oven and fridge, a double bedroom (with the possibility of placing an extra bed), satellite TV, wireless internet and washing machine (in the two ground floor apartments).

Entertainment

The highly original floral carpets of Corpus Christi, the famous festival of la Madonna del Monte di Marta, the Pugnaloni of Acquapendente and the festival of the Macchina di Santa Rosa in Viterbo, are just some of the traditional celebrations that animate the heart of Tuscia.

Tuscia offers an antique and charming territory, rich in history and dotted with enchanting villages that boast centuries-old traditions: Civita di Bagnoregio (The Dying Town), the Archaeological Park of Vulci, the Roman city of Ferento, Villa Lante in Bagnaia and Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola.

Olmo Bello has a lovely swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas surrounded by greenery. Mountain bikes for relaxing bike rides. A charming sandy beach at just a few kilometers and an organic vegetable garden where to pick vegetables and cook fantastic meals on the barbecue.

With its surface of 114 square meters, Lake Bolsena is the largest volcanic lake in Europe and the largest lake in Lazio. Recent scientific studies have shown that the condition of the water is excellent, thanks to a policy aimed at combating the main sources of pollution.
